Objective Of the Driver Empowerment Programme Scheme
The main objective of the scheme is to provide 1.5 lakh or 50% subsidy by the government to the drivers on the purchase of auto rickshaws.
Eligibility Criteria for this Scheme
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana State
- Beneficiaries belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minority Communities and Backward Groups are eligible to take advantage of the scheme.
Education Qualification
Candidates must have passed at least 8th class. Also, students who have passed / failed in SSC exam will be given preference.
Age Limit :
21 to 40 years.
Annual Income Details:
The annual family income should be below Rupees 1.50 lakh in rural areas and Rs 2 lakhs in urban areas.
Having LMV Licence:
Applicant must have a valid LMV Licence issued by RTA. Preference will be given to those candidates having LMV Licence with transport badge.
