Karnataka Puneeth Rajkumar Hriday Jyoti Yojana helps the state government to provide treatment assistance to the people suffering from heart attack, so that the disease can be treated on time.

Major centers for implementing Karnataka Puneeth Rajkumar Hrudaya Jyoti Yojana

A special program will be run in the state for this scheme and there will be two methods to implement it. First – through hubs in public places and second – by installing spoke models or automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Taluk hospitals and 85 district hospitals have been designated as “spoke” centers by the government. Out of which, 10 hubs have been established by 16 super-speciality hospitals including Shri Jaydev Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, so that the victim can be taken care of in time.

Heart attack patients will be treated free of cost to save them from the disease.

Tenecteplase injection is used in private institutions to protect heart attack patients from the disease. Whose price is fixed between Rs 30,000 to Rs 45,000. But now these patients will be treated free of cost, for which tenecteplase injections will be given free of cost to these patients by government hospitals, so that the life of the victim can be saved.
