Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0
Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 has been started by the Chief Minister of the state. The scheme has achieved a significant milestone by covering 14 districts of the state within a few days of its launch. It now has a reach of 61 institutions and 4500 students. According to the state government, boot camps have also been organized in 08 educational institutions in 5 districts, out of which more than 570 students reached and more than 100 ideas were conveyed to the mentors. The scheme will give an exposure to the students on startups and help inculcate a culture of thought and innovation in the country.

In fact, Odisha is moving towards its mission of 5000 startups by the year 2025. Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 will play an important role in this direction. To make the Startup Odisha initiative more accessible to institutional and grassroots budding entrepreneurs, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has launched Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0. On this occasion, he has said that – this scheme will cover all the districts of the state through a 60-day journey and will look for innovators and women entrepreneurs at the grassroots level, which will increase employment opportunities in the state.
More than 1300 recognized startups in Odisha
There are currently more than 1300 recognized startups in the state, which are creating 10,000 jobs in the state. Out of which 40% of startups are being led by women themselves. During this visit, bootcamps will be organized in various institutions across the state to encourage idea generation and develop the spirit of entrepreneurship. Soon Odisha will be the hub of talented and innovative youth. The ideas presented in the Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 Van campaign and bootcamp will help people create a distinct identity for themselves across the state.
