AYUSHMAN ASOM MUKHYA MANTRI JAN AROGYA YOJANA

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched Ayushman Asom Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Under this scheme, every eligible citizen will be given health facility of Rs 5 lakh per family per year. Out of which the eligible family will get the benefit of cashless treatment. This scheme will cover those families who have not got the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. In this scheme, citizens will be able to get health treatment from 300 Assam state hospitals and all the hospitals covered under AB-PMJAY.

Objective Of the Ayushman Asom Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana

The main objective of the scheme is to provide the benefit of cashless insurance to the citizens of the state, so that they can get their treatment done in eligible hospitals.

In the first phase of Ayushman Asom Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, 26 lakh families will be covered, while after the launch of the second phase of the scheme, 32 lakh families of Assam will be covered.
