Karnataka Namo Stree Scheme – Budget 2023-24

The Karnataka state government has announced the launch of this Namo Stree scheme, for which the state government wants to increase the participation of women in the industrial sector by connecting them with employment. The state government has decided that they will create 5 lakh jobs for women by the coming year 2026. In such a situation, the state government has allocated a budget of Rs 500 crore for this Namo Stree scheme. Along with this, Rs 100 crore has also been released for 9890 self-help groups of the state.

Production units will be set up in every district for Namo Stree Yojana.

Already 50 thousand associations have been identified for this scheme. For which these units will be set up in every district of the state, in which chips, pottery, castor oil and jam etc. will be produced. Due to which women entrepreneurs will be enabled to create employment.
