6. Rythu Bharosa

Benefits of Praja Palana Scheme

The details of the benefits that the beneficiaries will get under Praja Palana Scheme are as follows –

• Under Maha Lakshmi Guarantee Scheme, eligible women will get petrol cylinder worth Rs 500 and monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500.
• Tenant farmers and agricultural laborers will be able to avail financial assistance under Rythu Bharosa, which is priced at Rs 15,000 and Rs 12,000 per acre respectively.
• Families of persons who participated or lost their lives in the battles of the state will be able to avail the benefit for a plot of 250 square yards under the Indiramma Housing Scheme.
• Under Grih Jyoti Yojana, individuals will be able to get free electricity up to 200 units.
• Widows, toddy tappers, weavers, dialysis patients, AIDS patients, beedi workers, filariasis patients, unmarried women and beedi takers will be able to apply for a monthly pension of Rs 4,000 under the Cheyutha system, while physically challenged people will be able to apply for Rs 6,000. will receive pension

Guidelines set for Praja Palana Scheme

1. Adequate counters will be open to accept applications for this scheme and women will have their own counter.
2. Each division will be divided into two sections, with one MPDO in-charge of the second and an MRO in-charge of the first.
3. Each officer will visit two communities on the same day.
4. More counters will be opened in villages with higher population density.
5. Persons who are unable to apply in the Gram Sabha can also apply in the Gram Panchayats.
6. This will be a continuous process which will not end at the scheduled time, and even after that day, people will be able to submit applications for related services in MPDO or MRO.
