West Bengal Oasis Scholarship has been started by the Government of West Bengal to provide financial assistance to the students who belong to SC / ST / OBC category. These scholarships are awarded to those beneficiaries who are unable to complete their studies due to financial constraints. With the help of Oasis Scholarship, the beneficiaries will be helped to continue their studies. Scholarships awarded to the beneficiaries are directly transferred to their bank account. This will strengthen the economic aspect of the beneficiary students and increase the level of education. To get Oasis Scholarship, the beneficiary students will have to go online on the official website and register, only after that they will be able to get the scholarship.

Objective

The objective of Oasis Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the meritorious and economically weaker students belonging to SC / ST / OBC and Other Backward Classes.

Eligibility

Pre-matric scholarship for SC students	· Beneficiary should be a student of class 9th and 10th · Student should belong to Scheduled Caste class. · The annual income of the beneficiary’s family should not exceed 2 lakhs.
Pre-matric scholarship for ST students	· Students should belong to ST class. · 9th and 10th grade students will be eligible to apply. · The annual income of the beneficiary’s family should not exceed 2 lakhs.
Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students	· The beneficiary must be studied at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level. · Beneficiary should belong to SC / ST category. · The annual income of the family should not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
Post-matric scholarship for OBC students	· The beneficiary should be studied at the secondary level. · Students should belong to OBC category. · The annual income of the beneficiary’s family should not exceed 1 lakh.

How to apply for the Oasis Scholarship 2021

First of all, the beneficiary has to go to the official website.

Now you have to click on the option with Student registration.

After that a new page will open in front of you.
In this page, you have to select the district where your organization is located.
Now another page will open in front of you, in which you will have to enter all the information given.
After that you have to verify your caste certificate.
After the whole process, you have to click on submit button at the end.

First of all, the beneficiary has to go to the official website.

Now you have to click on the login button.
After filling the information given here, you have to login.

Renewal Of Application

First of all, the beneficiary has to go to the official website.

Now you have to click on the option of Renew Scholarship.
Here you have to log in using your credentials. Where you have to verify your previous details.
Apart from this, you also have to enter the given details.
After that you have to click on the option named Renew Application.
Now you have to enter the details of the current academic session.
Then you have to click on the option named Renew And Lock Application.
After this process you will have to submit all the documents to the concerned Block Development Officer (BDO) along with PO cum DWO for the Block Area or Municipal Corporation.
