Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Yojana has been started by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to make the people of the state free from loan waiver. Through which, all the loans and their interest on the houses sanctioned by the Government of Andhra Pradesh will be waived and the beneficiaries will also be given full rights over their property.

The eligible applicant will have to pay a nominal amount to avail the benefits of the scheme. Apart from this, the government will also provide registered title deed on payment of nominal amount under One Time Settlement Plan and registration documents will also be provided to the beneficiaries. Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Yojana will directly benefit more than 52 lakh families of the state.

The main objective of Jagannath Sampoorna Griha Hakku Yojana is to waive off all the loans and interest on the houses sanctioned by the government.

Outstanding loan of Rs 10 thousand crore will be waived

Through the Jagannath Sampoorna Griha Hakku Yojana, the Andhra Pradesh Government will waive off the outstanding housing loans of about Rs 10 thousand crore, which were taken from the AP Housing Board Corporation in 2011. About 52 lakh people will get benefit from this scheme. The Chief Minister has also distributed the registered documents under the scheme to 826000 people who have enrolled for this scheme. Apart from this, citizens who have allotted land with their own money in the government and who do not have full rights, they will also be able to take advantage of registration by paying just Rs 10. 6000 crores will be spent by the government for free registration under this scheme.

Nominal value to be paid through the scheme

To avail the benefits of Jagannath Sampoorna Griha Hakku Yojana, the beneficiaries will have to pay a nominal amount of Rs 10000 in villages, Rs 15000 in municipality and Rs 20000 in municipal corporations. If the loan amount is less than the stipulated amount, the beneficiaries will be able to pay the outstanding loan amount and also get rights over their property. To take advantage of this scheme, registration will be done by the beneficiary till April.

The property of the beneficiary shall be removed from the land restricted under section 22(a) after payment of the nominal value. To ease the registration process, beneficiaries will be able to get their property registered with the Village and Ward Secretariat at no extra cost.
